How to Install the Most Genuine and Official Microsoft Office Suite?
The office software we use daily falls into two major camps: Microsoft Office and WPS.
Today, I’ll show you the simplest way to download and activate the original Microsoft Office.
System Requirements
For mainstream Windows 10 systems, the recommended Office version is Office 2019 — the most compatible version for Windows 10.
For Windows 11 users, Office 365, Office 2021, and Office 2024 are great choices.
For Windows 7 users, Office 2016 is recommended.
Downloading and Installing Office
We can use the official Office installer provided by Microsoft to download and install Office.

It includes various versions of Office installers, such as:

Once downloaded, simply double-click the installer to run it, and wait for the installation to complete.

Activating Office
In the past, KMS activation was the only option for Office. KMS activation only lasts 180 days and expires, which is quite troublesome.
Now we can use the Ohook activation method to activate Office.
The advantage of Ohook activation is that it provides permanent offline activation without requiring an internet connection.

MAS is an excellent activation tool. It’s a CMD script, not a traditional software application.
It can activate Windows 10/11 using KMS, KMS38, or HWID methods, activate Office using KMS or Ohook, check Windows or Office activation status, change Windows or Office versions, export OEM information, and more.
And this tool is only 435KB in size — far superior to similar software.
Simply press the corresponding number key on your keyboard to activate using the Ohook method.
Third-Party Office Download & Installation Tools
Besides using Microsoft’s official Office installer, there are many excellent third-party Office installers that offer a more user-friendly experience. Their biggest advantage is that they allow you to install only the Office components you want, rather than the entire suite.
For example, most of us only use the Word, Excel, and PowerPoint trio, without needing Access, Skype, OneDrive, or OneNote. Installing all of them takes up a lot of space and serves no purpose. Third-party installers let you install only the commonly used trio.
One of the best third-party Office tools currently available is Office Tool Plus.

Office Tool Plus requires Microsoft’s .NET runtime to run, so you need to install it first.
After installing the runtime, run Office Tool Plus.exe to open the software.
Use the “Deploy Office” option to configure your desired Office installation settings, including language, update channel, architecture, version, and more.
Once configured, you can export your settings to an XML file for future use. Next time you use the software, simply import this XML file.
Click “Start Deployment” to begin downloading and installing Office.
