Method to Bypass TPM Restrictions, Keep Personal Files and Apps, and Upgrade to Windows 11 Locally via ISO
Bypassing TPM Restrictions: Upgrading to Windows 11 via ISO While Keeping Personal Files and Apps
TPM is a chip located on the motherboard. If your motherboard lacks a TPM chip (older computers), Windows 11 will block the installation. However, there is now a way to bypass Windows 11’s checks and install it directly.
The tool we use is Flyby11
How to Use Flyby11
Download Flyby11:
Follow me, reply with “11” in the background to get a stable download link for Flyby11.
Ensure you have sufficient free space on your C: drive, otherwise the upgrade will fail.
Download the Windows 11 installation ISO you want to install in advance.
Open Flyby11, first click the “X” to close the initial window.
Then drag and drop the Windows 11 installation ISO onto the left side of the Flyby11 software window.
The software will automatically process, run a PowerShell script, and launch the installer.
Disconnect from the internet! Otherwise, it will download annoying update packages at an extremely slow speed!
Follow the installer prompts step by step.
At the “Enter product key” stage, simply click “I don’t have a product key” or “I previously installed Windows 10 or Windows 11 on this PC” to skip key entry.
!Important!
When selecting the system edition to install, you must choose the same edition as your currently running Windows system! Otherwise, you won’t be able to select “Keep personal files and apps” in later steps!
For example: If your current system is Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2019, you should select Windows 11 Enterprise in the installer. If your current system is Windows 10 IoT LTSC 2021, then select Windows 11 IoT Enterprise.Check your current system version: Press the Windows key + R, type
winver, and press Enter.Continue following the prompts.
Wait for the installation to complete.
How It Works
Flyby11 works by using a PowerShell script to force the Windows 11 ISO to run in Windows Server system mode by default.
Since servers may not have a TPM chip, the Windows installer does not enforce TPM compatibility checks.
This method may be blocked by Microsoft over time. Use it while it lasts!
